North Stars are ideas, goals, or principles that provide clarity. When you’re weighing tradeoffs, a North Star can tilt a decision. When you’re confused, it can clear the fog.

North Stars can change over time. They should be aspirational - not something you directly achieve. Objectives, goals, and milestones should be aligned with North Stars, not confused for them.
